Fun-loving, hardworking, compassionate people with a sincere heart for helping people with disabilities and their families should consider a position in our Day Treatment Program as a Direct Support Professional in our Employment Program  at Lauren’s Institute For Education.

RATE: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour DOE, 

$500 Commitment Bonus, 50% at 3 months and 50% at 6 months

HOURS: 40 Per week, Monday through Friday

As a Direct Support Professional working with our adults in our Employment Program, you can expect a typical day to include:

    • Helping to run an on campus snack shack
    • Weekly shopping trip with consumers
    • Assisting consumers in mock jobs around campus
    •    Teaching and assisting consumers in employment related activities and lessons. This could include career interest assessments, resume writing, filling out job applications, workplace safety, etc.
    • Assisting with the academy hot lunch program

  • Knowledge of resume and cover letter writing

Lauren’s Institute For Education (L.I.F.E.) is a non-profit organization serving children and adults with developmental disabilities in Gilbert, AZ in an all-inclusive transdisciplinary treatment center and private school.
