Job Description

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the IT department in conjunction with the Director of Technology. 
  • Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with organizational goals. 
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and networks. 
  • Ensure data security, backup, and disaster recovery protocols are in place and effective. 
  • Manage IT budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships. 
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime. 
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement technological solutions. 
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies. 
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and security. 
  • Provide training and support for staff on IT systems and best practices. 
  • Provide management with visibility into hardware, software, and license capacity and usage. 
  • Accurately maintain and update help desk software to track incidents and resolutions. 
  • Perform root cause analysis in response to incidents, tickets, or management requests. 
  • Coordinate with third-party hardware and software support when necessary.

Skills / Requirements

Ability to uphold organization’s mission and vision; Core moral fiber and integrity values; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites; etc. Experience with enterprise systems such as Microsoft 365; HIPAA compliance knowledge and experience ; Familiarity with IT governance and compliance frameworks; Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices; Ability to manage change and drive digital transformation initiatives.
