Maintenance Groundskeeper

Job Overview: We seek a motivated, experienced professional to join our Maintenance team at Lauren’s Institute for Education. The ideal candidate will provide first-level support to our property. This role requires knowledge of landscaping and requires the skills to maintain a pristine property. Applicants need to have a friendly, customer-focused attitude.  

This position offers opportunities for professional growth and excellent on-the-job training to enhance employee development. We seek a candidate prepared to develop within the role and advance within the maintenance department.  

Salary: $35,000 - $45,000 per year DOE

Additional Requirements: The candidate must demonstrate the ability to be a team player, take initiative, and work independently.  

Also, exhibit professionalism when working within the student community. Many responsibilities will be carried out near classrooms and other outdoor areas where our student community is at play. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively with staff members and exhibit professionalism when working within the student community.  

Key Responsibilities: 

• Maintain campus integrity and appearance 
• Complete all tasks as directed by your supervisor 
• Complete all responsibilities related to landscaping and ground maintenance 
• Work directly with the maintenance team to ensure the integrity of the property 

Qualifications & Skillsets: 

• Mowing 
• Trimming both bushes and trees 
• Irrigation repair 
• Overseeding and fertilization of grass areas 
• Blowing/Maintaining debris in all campus areas 
• Weed control
• Ability to obtain Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
